The Lunar Chronicles

Ciao, people of this world! So glad you decided to check out my blog again after my rather odd introduction. But don't worry, the books are coming.

The Lunar Chronicles by Marissa Meyer is a bunch of fairy tales that have been woven together to create this one big, awesome story. Did I mention that it is AWESOME?

Cinder, book one, is about a teenage cyborg who is a renowned mechanic. Cinder has always dreamed of escape from her evil guardian, Adri. And yes, it is a Cinderella story.

For those who've read Cinder but maybe not Scarlet, which is the second book, Scarlet is a Little Red Riding Hood story. THIS INCLUDES SPOILERS OF CINDER. Scarlet is a not a cyborg. her grandmother has gone missing. She also finds herself attracted to a street fighter named Wolf.  Meanwhile, Cinder is attempting to escape from prison-and if she succeeds, she'll be the Commonwealth's most wanted fugitive.

And for those who've read Cinder and Scarlet, then you are probably eagerly awaiting for the release of Cress, which is about a girl who is trapped on a satellite dish. It is scheduled to be released on February 4th!!!!!!!!! MUST. HAVE. NOW. CANNOT WAIT FOR THE FOURTH OF FEBRUARY.
Oh, and if you haven't figured out what fairy tale it will be yet, take a look at the cover.

And yes, I know Cinder and Scarlet are also included, but now you know how all the covers look.  Did I mention that I MUST HAVE CRESS RIGHT NOW!?!?!??!!?!?!!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

Impatiently awaiting February 4th,

Prologue

Welcome to Rainy Day Books! Today will simply be an introduction, and I'll actually get started with books and everything on my next post.
When I first found out that I had to create a blog and was going to be graded on it, I was like, Excuse me? You're grading me on this? Does this mean that I have to follow your rules and can't just simply do what I want? What would I blog about anyways? I don't care about anything really, except for books. And one of my friends said that she would totally read about books and all that, so...here is my 100% (hopefully) awesome book blog!

Byeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

P.S. This blog is titled Rainy Day Books in hopes that my lovely, dry state of California finally gets rain. Like it did today!
